Our Vision

The Résumé Station's vision is to help you succeed on your path to success. We help you recognize and highlight your talents, skills and accomplishments and present those achievements professionally. We strive to maintain high customer satisfaction by providing expedient and personalized service.

Our History

The Résumé Station was founded as a result of numerous individuals turning to Jill Reed for her writing expertise and resume advice. She enjoyed working with those individuals and decided to launch The Résumé Station in early 2007. Since that time, The Résumé Station has grown tremendously and now provides services to clients nationwide.

Jill Reed: Jill's writing, interviewing and advocacy experience comes from her background as a Human Resources Manager and as an Attorney. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Miami University and her Juris Doctor, cum laude from Capital University Law School. Her published written work includes fiction, non-fiction and technical pieces.

Jill enjoys writing and challenging individuals to think about their accomplishments and strengths and assisting them with a plan to achieve their goals.

When she is not writing, Jill enjoys volunteering her time with her church, local community groups and within the schools. She also serves as an advocate on local government and education related issues. In the past, Jill spent time as a member of the NC Bar Association, The NC Bar Foundation's Law Related Education Partnership, the NC Bar Association's Juvenile Justice and Children's Rights Section, and The Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates.

David Reed: David brings over 19 years of experience in recruiting, staffing and management to The Resume Station. His broad experience includes working with closely held corporations through Fortune 500 companies. David has also spent a large portion of his career within the mortgage banking industry. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Miami University and his Six Sigma Green Belt from Villanova University.

David has been recognized as a leader who knows how to use creative methods to energize and motivate individuals and discover their strengths and talents.

In his free time, David enjoys volunteering with his church and the local Boy Scout troop. He has also donated his time with Habitat for Humanity projects and Meals on Wheels.
